Mood swings can have a huge impact on an individual’s life and on their friends, family and co-workers. When neurotransmitters are tested, you as a patient can be treated as an individual.

Commonly physicians just write a prescription for a mood altering pharmaceutical drug. Mood disorders can be treated with effective, targeted nutrient therapies; these therapies use nutrients that are already in your body to correct the imbalance. This method is a safe and natural approach, unlike pharmaceutical drugs there are no issues with side effects, drug-drug interactions, or addictions.

Hormonal Imbalance

Do you feel that you have lost your interest in sex and intimacy? Is your low libido affecting your marriage and/or your personal happiness?

Testing and balancing sex hormones is incredibly important because it can increase libido and relieve menopausal symptoms. It is also important because the appropriate use of sex hormones help to protect the brain, the heart, the breast, bones and relationships. Sex hormones work with neurotransmitters, the thyroid gland and the adrenal gland, they are all dancing partners. If you only treat one of these systems it’s like sitting on a one legged stool, you really need to balance the endocrine system. Women who have balanced sex hormones decrease the risk of developing Alzheimer’s by 50 percent.

Men experiencing low testosterone can have symptoms of fatigue mood disorders, muscle wasting, low libido, ED. Optimal levels of testosterone in men is 800-100n/dm. If a man has low testosterone they are at three times the risk for Alzheimer’s, heart disease, cancers, and osteoporosis. Balancing testosterone, like estrogen in women, not only gives the individual a better sense of well being, but creates a natural state of well balance and decreases the risk of significant illnesses.

GI Issues

Do you experiencing constipation, bloating, heartburn or diarrhea?

The gastrointestinal tract is 30 feet long, the length of a tennis court and it is our second brain. The calming, happy neurotransmitters are made in the gastrointestinal tract.

If you are experiencing GI issues it is important to use specific test to diagnose the cause, rather than taking a pharmaceutical drug that covers up the symptoms. The GI tract has more neurons (brain cells) in it than the spinal cord or your peripheral nervous symptoms, thirty different neurotransmitters are created in the gut!

Your immune system lives in your GI tract, it is so important to diagnose the specific GI issue to help you live a happy, comfortable life. You don’t need to suffer any more.
