These vegan chocolate fat bombs are the bomb! Fat bombs force the body to burn fat as its primary fuel instead of carbohydrates. A keto fat bomb recipe is formulated to be low-carb and high-fat, it’s just the right mix for the energy for your body. The high-fat content keeps you satisfied between meals.
Store these in the freezer, and just grab one when you fee hungry. It may be that your body is craving the fat…instead of a slice of cake…or a stack of cookies. Fat bombs are a staple in a keto diet.
Vegan Chocolate Fat Bombs
Ingredients
- ½ cup nut or seed butter, your choice!
- ¼ cup cocoa or cacao powder
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil or melted plant butter
- stevia to taste, or 1 tablespoon liquid sweetener of choice. I use a teaspoon of maple syrup. (Remember the more syrup, the more carbs which we want to avoid in this recipe)
Instructions
I melt my plant butter (coconut oil) in a two cup glass pyrex measuring cup.
Next I stir in the nut butter of choice, followed by the cocoa powder and sweetener.
Once I have a smooth concoction, I spoon it into my candy molds and freeze.
When the bombs have frozen solid (within an hour, usually) I pop them out of the mold and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
(Here is my favorite silicone candy mold.)
